My Dearest Spiritual Father,
Calvary greetings to you and your family in the Most Holy Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will try my best to explaining complete story of what happened in Pakistan. There is a village called as “Korian” where we used to go to preach the Gospel and we also have a sewing training center there. We also distribute tracts by our literature ministry to aware people to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many Christian families and they work under the Muslim landlords. There was marriage of the daughter of “Mukhtar Masih” and the Muslims falsely claimed that the Christians throw the pages of “Holy Quran” in this marriage (There is a tradition in Pakistan that in marriages people used money notes to throw to show their happiness).
On 30th of July 2009, some Muslim mobs and other people came and gave an ultimatum to Christians run away and leave their houses because we will burn their houses. Many Christians flee from their house and went to their relatives where they lived. Some families did not leave their houses and in the night time nearly 9:00 pm they came and start to make a noise saying “Christians are dogs”. The families who were in the houses also quickly leave their houses and run away through the fields and other ways to find shelter to safe their lives. The Muslim mobs looted 60 houses and then set them on fire. Every thing has burnt even animals burnt and died.
Some people tried to escape to save their lives and young daughters and sisters riding on their motorbikes, but on the way Muslim mobs stopped them and said if you want to live then accept Islam other wise you will be killed. Praise God, they did not accept their Islam and answered that we are ready to die but cannot accept Islam. The Muslim mobs killed them.
On another morning of 1st August 2009, the Muslim mobs entered a Christian Town of Gojra saying “Allah is great” and “Christians are dogs.” They threw chemicals into the houses of Christians and burned the houses. They also set four alive women, two men and two children on fire even animals were burnt.
We visited to “Korian” and took some pictures and also saw our centers which were burnt and nothing was there. Some Muslims abused me and my team and said to get out otherwise we will kill you and burn your houses also. So, they beat us and we ran away from there saving our lives. After that they were continually calling me for some days and they said we know all about you and your families. They said you are making Muslims stray from Islam and convert them to Christianity and you abused Muhammad so your punishment is only death.
One day some people came to our area and asked here and there about our church. They burnt two houses and also one man (Mubarik Masih) and his son. When the Christians come together and made noise these persons run away. After three days they called and said now I and my family (and other two pastors who are with me in Singapore) are the targets of them.
So, we called a meeting with some other ministries and bishops. They advised us to leave that city or place then we transferred to Karachi but we were not safe there also. So the Bishops collected some funds and arranged visas for us and some money. Then we came to Singapore.
Some unknown people called me on my cell phone and gave me threats that we know you and your work to convert Muslims to Christianity.
There is a blasphemy law and under its excuse they can kill any Christian and if the person is arrested then the plenty of this is death.
So, Christians are living in Pakistan worst than Israel was in Egypt. Their lives and properties are not safe.
We need your precious prayers. We request you to share these circumstances to other pastors and leaders and fellow Christians. We will appreciate whole heartedly your assistance immediately.
